Hamas‘ anti-Jewish massacre in Israel on 7 October 2023 has absolutely nothing to do with an eman-cipatory liberation struggle and cannot be justified and legitimized by progressive, let alone truly communist forces. Hamas and its supporters must be exposed and fought against. However, it would be narrow-minded and naive to reduce the problem to Hamas and its war against Israel.
